  • My husband and I have had a large rear-projection TV for about seven or so years. We've had to replace the bulb at least once a year and finally we got fed up with it and decided to replace it. Now, the TV is big. Really big. Feels like a hundred pounds (it's probably not) but it took the two of us plus an additional friend to help us get it off the TV stand one day with a ton of effort. It's been sitting in the same spot for the past two years. We don't have a large van or proper materials to just throw it somewhere and leave it. Anyway, leave it to us getting ready to move in a month to finally call The Junk Guys to dispose of the TV for us. We called yesterday and they said they would be at our place today(!) anywhere from 9-11AM. They called this morning at 8:30AM, said they would be at our place in 40 minutes, and arrived at 9:10AM. So prompt! They hauled the TV away for us in about two minutes flat. Properly lifted the TV over their heads (!!), tossed it in their truck, and took it away. Best money spent!
