| - We waited for their renovation to finish taking place and went back excitedly last week. The renovation looks great, more open feel, but as others said, new management. Hickey is no longer there, or taking a break, it was hush hush when we asked about him and if he was coming back or not. Open bar space but only two chefs working the night we were there so they could not accommodate us at the bar and we got a table. Big mistake. The table next to us put there order in when we sat down, 4 people....we got our drinks, put our order in. The parade of sushi dishes start coming out for them. We still wait.....they put in like 4 more orders, and again the parade of sushi comes to them, we're still waiting. Different servers come by to see if we need assistance and we tell them a couple times we're waiting on our order. Finally we everything at once. The quality has gone done. No passion it seems. My roll looks like it was put together by a child. When I attempted to pick it up, the tuna on top fell off, the rice fell apart inside and outside the roll, it was a disaster. Wasn't even appetizing anymore. They've deleted some rolls from the menu as well, which I get if they're not bringing in profits. We always get a couple orders of super white and it normally came out white, this time it was yellow in color. Not sure if that's a quality issue or the wrong tuna, but meh. Not to make this totally negative, the manager on duty did notice our wait and gave us 20% off, but I'm not sure we'll return. It's a drive from where we live, but we liked the "going out" factor so for convenience purposes we'll find something closer.
