  • These are the times when I wish Yelp had the option of a zero star rating. First off, I just have to say that I come to vegas all the time and typically stay at planet hollywood where i have no problems whatsoever. However, on this particular occasion, i went for a friends 21st birthday and didn't make the reservation myself thus, i was forced into staying at this crappy hotel. Now mind you, my friends and I have gotten into all the biggest cubs on the busiest nights for free with no problems. After a long time of partying, we figured we'd stop into Gilley's (located inside TI) for a casual drink. The bouncer checked our ID's and stamped everyone in our party except for my cousin. He called over 5 security guys and the "head of security" was a total dick. He told her that she stole someone else's ID even though it was hers and it DID look like her! She showed him all her credit cards, her emails, and basically the entire contents of her purse to prove it was her and he still didn't believe her! anyways after being hassled for 20 minutes, he said he could refuse service to anyone and decided not to let us in. Needless to say, we flipped him the bird. At check out, they overcharged our party plus charged the hotel room on the card we had given them to hold the room though we told them our party was paying in cash! Then...we tried to go to the pool after we had checked out but they hassled us about needing a room key but we had turned them all in so we couldn't go in even though we had proof we had stayed there (valet cards, receipts, etc). Ugh! I finally found a key that I hadn't turned in and we got into the pool (which btw wasn't worth searching in my purse for 5 minutes). We were so sick of everything and thank God we were finally leaving! However, the valet took literally 40 minutes to get us our car plus, when we got it back, the anti-theft on the car had been disarmed and it was clear someone had been in my cousin's car and had tampered with it! EPIC FAIL! That's not how we expect to get our car back after giving it to valet. After all, isn't the point of valet to make your stay more convenient and keep your car safe? My cousin DID end up complaining and they apologized (barely) and offered a suite upgrade on our next visit. Unfortunately for them, there won't be a next visit. We'll opt to pay full price anywhere else in return for our safety and enjoyment.
