My family tried Pomegranate Cafe for Easter Brunch and were extremely impressed. Before I get into the food, let me say that I'm not a vegan or vegetarian. In fact, BBQ is one of my hobbies. Don't let the vegan menu scare you off. The food was absolutely fantastic. They do offer eggs and cheese if you need to get some protein and our server knew all about the menu and ingredients.
My wife and son had the banana bread French toast. My wife is allergic to strawberries, and asked to leave them off. Andrew, our server, actually noted on the ticket that there was a food allergy to ensure no cross contamination. Very grateful, and other restaurants could learn from that practice. I had the cheddar biscuits with vegan chorizo gravy. It was outstanding.
Can't believe I took so long to try this place. We'll be back...especially to try the mushroom and poblano street tacos!
