My husband and I were looking for a nice, but casual place for a light lunch that had an outside section where we could enjoy the 75 degree weather, and that didn't close from 3-5pm or not open until 4pm or 5pm. This fit the bill.
The most pleasant surprise was how good their grilled artichoke appetizer was! Bravo! My favorite of those is at the Rutherford Grill in Napa, but this one was fabulous and right up there! I've had a few grilled artichokes in nice restaurants around town and have been mostly disappointed in that they are hard and/or too charred. This one was very soft with great flavor.
The 2nd runner up was their caramelized onion & Guinness soup. Very tasty. I didn't think their shrimp cocktail was all that great, nor did I care for their sangria much (tasted like fruit juice), but I'd definitely go back for the artichoke.
Their prices are about what I'd expect for the area, and at least they have a daily happy hour - that I will have to go back and try!
