| - The Eastern & 215 store is closer to my home but this location is on my way home from work AND no one is ever there. Wish I'd bothered to read the reviews before going there...I won't go back here & will wait out the Eastern store.
I've been with AT&T for nearly 20 years...on the same contract. Since before AT&T had retail stores & you had to go to a Radio Shack or place similar to get service. I came in to upgrade my phone...seemed easy enough. Trouble started when I returned it within 14 days & pre-ordered the Galaxy S5. Charged me $36 to restock it...first I heard of this fee. Had I known about it beforehand I wouldn't have done the initial upgrade. Short blond, below 5', helped me do the return. When my Galaxy arrived in store 2 days before the initial release she wouldn't give me my phone saying the release date was 2 days away & I had to wait. AND she checked with her manager (who was in a heated convo with another couple). I showed the girl the email I received from AT&T saying my phone was in & I could get, so after being told "No!," I calked 611. While explaining to the phone rep what was happening, the manager came over & told me regardless what Customer Care said I wasn't getting my order. The rep heard her & asked to speak with her & when I got back on the line the phone rep apologized & said the manager should be getting my phone. When this crabby manager returns with my box, in the least sincere tone ever, apologizes saying she thought I wanted to BUY the GS5 then & leave with it...she didn't know I pre-ordered one. Liar that one is!! Appears the phone rep told her the advantage to pre-order was getting the phone before the official release date. So I proceed with the upgrade & the blond starts installing AT&T apps on my phone without even asking me if I want them!! Supposedly they are required to make the phone work properly. I'm not stupid...my voicemail worked just fine without AT&T's crap voicemail app. Afterwards I had questions about a few other services & she refused to help me.
Bottom line, unless you are buying new service, no one there is interested in helping you because they don't get paid to answer questions, just sell. If someone does help you, they'll make it known they aren't happy about it. The manager is worse than the minions. Don't go here...for anything.
Oh!! The parking here sucks!!
