  • I wanted so much to love this mall. It would get a 5 star rating if it was just based on the interior design and layout because I believe that it uses its space well and it is very nice to walk around and window shop because everything looks so clean and pretty. Buuut... that's just not what a 5 star is all about. Maybe it's because I have high expectations - comparing every mall this size to my beloved West Edmonton Mall. I just thought this mall would have.... More. More store selection, more food court options (WEM does have two food courts after all...plus bourbon street) more things to do besides shop... Also I would have liked to see fewer outlets in Crossiron too. I know its location is not in Calgary, so therefore it's not serviced by Calgary transit but it kind of sucks that the only way to get here is to brave the highways. A commuter bus would be pretty awesome but frankly I don't even know if people would actually use it. I'll come to Crossiron Mills If I need to get something that is only here but otherwise... I think I might just skip it and stick to Chinook.
