  • I went here after looking at other bridal salons for a wedding dress. I was thinking that David's would offer a nice dress at a more affordable price. Instead it seemed like their dresses lacked quality, and were the same prices as other salons. I did find one I liked. Now, when you imagine finding you dream dress it isn't one you just LIKE. So how did that happen-- the process was so overwhelming! I made a purchase on a dress I didn't love. To start off, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted in my mind However, my bridal consultant did NOT help me pull dresses at all so I was left to scavenge through rack upon racks of dresses. Then she chose 4 out of the 10 -15 or so that my family and I pulled. I was already overwhelmed because its so hard to tell what any of the dresses looked like in their wrapping. After trying on 3 that were amazing, but the wrong silhouette I finally found one in the silhouette that I wanted. I believe between being overwhelmed and finally finding one in the shape I wanted I dove in! I purchased it. And while it was a pretty dress I just kept thinking about the other ones I tried on. So I went back and asked if there were anyway to make an A-line dress that I had tried into a mermaid/fit and flare style. Their response was that their alterations department are not allowed to change the design of the dress because then it isn't available for resell. I was taken aback because the other salon I had visited was more than willing to make any adjustments to any dress I wanted so it was just right. I then asked if they could just change out the lining on the dress I purchased and maybe to add some more tulle. Again, same response. After that they didn't seem to give me much attention or any solutions to the problem I was having. So I returned the dress. At first, the lady began saying "All sales are final" which, although WAS written on the receipt, was not verbalized to me. I was very frustrated, but because the purchase was so new they have to abide by Nevada State Law that permits a 3 day grace period on large purchases. So in the end, they refunded my money to the card it was purchased with. Not much fuss there, but overall I didn't have a great experience there. I don't think it is a place I would ever want to buy a dress from, and I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than bridesmaid/party dresses.
