| - I slightly burnt my hair while cooking...emergency!!! I couldn't get in with my regular stylist...so I called my trusted friend Rosy M...we all have a friend or two who knows the town like the palm of their hand...so well connected and informed...she knew a hairstylist who is amazing, affordable, and available...James at Family Hair.
Family Hair is run by a good-looking husband and wife. They both speak fluent English with a little bit of flavor...Korean flavor to be specific. The space on Buffalo & Flamingo is small and modest. A women's hair cut is $20, while men's $15, and kids on booster seat is $12. All cuts are performed with MAD Skills. For my understanding, short hair is hard to cut, but long hair is harder to satisfy. The three times I've been taken care of by James was nothing less than perfect...In fact, I feel guilty only paying $20 for this amazing hair cut.
I wash my hair at home before I get service from James...they may well charge more for shampoo and conditioning service, but I don't know for sure. He always takes his time--focussing on his work and diligently working to impress.
James at Family Hair, I thank you deeply for solving my emergency with compassion...in a calm and pleasant manner, and results that will beautifully linger for 2 to 3 months. I was also happy to see the diversity of guests they provide service to.
So... when you want to try a new stylist with nothing to lose but $20 and 20-25 minutes of your day, come see James at Family Hair...I am sure he will wow you and your friends!
