  • Listed below is my previous review but thanks to Thom the manager at Fitness 19 I was able to change it from. 3 star rating to a 5 star rating. He contacted me a day or so after I posted my review. He immediately took our name off the contact list & wanted to talk to me about what happened with our account. I went in and he explained the mistake the employee had made and showed me where he corrected it. He also issued me a refund check for the funds that had been charged to my account. He was very apologetic and courteous. Thank you Thom for handling the situation promptly & for being so professional! The gym is great ....however the sales staff & the continuous pre-recorded promotional phone calls and texts are not! I finally had to block them. My husband & I signed up on a monthly basis. The sales person made it sound as though the credit card would be charged monthly. No....that was for the month you signed up. After that they called and harassed us for checking account info. Due to the continued fraud In Las Vegas we do not do that type of transaction. Not to mention Fitness 19 prefers to do accounts that way so they don't get charged merchant account fees for credit card transactions. After all this we find out our friend who signed up the same week was given the offer of 3 years for $299. WTF? The sales person mentioned nothing about the promo. I had to go in and tell them about it to get it. Here I am two month later thinking it's all handled correctly & the monthly fees were stopped since we paid 3 years in advance....NOT! I literally just looked at my credit card transactions and they have charged monthly dues the past two months. Now I get to go to they gym tomorrow not to work out but to straighten out the mess they have created. New members beware ....
