Not certain if the one star is fair. When will Yelp provide negative star ratings?
I have only used bus transportation a few times in my life so maybe I was expecting a different experience. You know like a decent ride for a decent price.
While in Southern CA last March my wife and I booked a trip from Anaheim to Vegas. When the bus out of Anaheim was over an hour and a half late making the connection in LA an impossibility, we opted for alternative transportation. When I asked for a refund I was told I could not get it at the bus station but had to fill out a form and mail it to customer service with a reason for my request and to expect an 8 week wait for my refund, if they felt my reason was valid
On my return home I did just that and mailed it to the PO Box that was provided on the envelope that Greyhound gave me.
Eight weeks later I got the envelope I mailed back saying it was an undeliverable address. So I called Greyhound and was informed that the PO Box number had changed and was provided the correct address.
Being that I had already now waited two months for my refund I asked if my refund would be expedited and was told they would try.
Keep in mind this all happened in Mid March and it is now mid July and I still have had no refund.
This has to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with and will never take another Greyhound bus for the rest of my life and I may have to wait for the rest of my life to get my refund.
**********update********
On Oct 5 I received my refund. It only took 6 months, two mailings, 5 phone calls and many prayers. Great job to the back room guys who hustled to get this refund processes in such a timely bases. Almost as timely as your buses!
