I popped into Little Tokyo Bistro on a whim when a craving for sushi hit just a few days after moving in a few blocks away. What a surprise that it turned out to be quite tasty and reasonably priced to boot! There is plenty of seating and some cool lights illuminating the walls. The fish was very fresh and the portions were generous. I absolutely loved the Dean Roll, which was a low carb option (spicy tuna with avocado and soy paper). I must warn you that unlike many places, Little Tokyo's spicy tuna has a definite kick to it! I was disappointed that their white tuna is albacore (the same variety you get in a can at the store), not escolar (my favorite cut of sashimi that is melt in your mouth goodness). Presentation/execution of the food and service were both good and everyone at my table (party of 4) was happy with their selections. My only real complaint is that when I left, my clothes and hair smelled very 'greasy', from the strong cooking smells coming from the woks in the kitchen. I will definitely make Little Tokyo a regular stop in my neighborhood eatery rotation.
