  • BRUTAL. If you're in a hurry here's the long and short of it; the club is in a totally sketchy neighborhood, it was dead, even on a special event night, the dry ice was enough to mummify living tissue and the staff are rude. Don't waste your money! My boyfriend and I usually frequent X Cub but wanted to give Wicked a chance. We are experienced in the LifeStyle and know it's best to go on an 'event night' rather than a regular night, so we waited for Wicked's White Ball on Aug. 29th. When we arrived at 11:15 there was about 8 people there, including Shlomo, the owner, who was sitting at the bar. You'd think that, seeing as he had nothing else to do, he would have come over and welcomed people he'd never seen in his private club before. LifeStylers all know each other and are usually quite friendly and welcoming to new people. Not so at Wicked! It was sooo dead that we didn't want to commit to buying drinks until we knew if things were going to pick up or not. The bartender came over and offered us drinks and we said we didn't know what we wanted yet; instead of saying something pleasant like "okay, just wave me down when you're ready" she just turned around and walked away. Half an hour later when she came back again we were honest and said "we're not sure if we're going to stay or not" and she gave us a pissy look and turned around and walked away, as if we didn't have the right, after paying for membership and admission, to sit there if we weren't going to buy drinks. We were only there for 45 min. and the dry ice alone was enough to make us want to leave. I wear contact lenses and the dry ice was so overdone that it sucked every molecule of moisture out of my eyes and I had to get my eye drops out every five minutes. My boyfriend doesn't wear contacts and even he needed my eyedrops. Between the dry ice and the lighting it was almost impossible to see in there; even if it had been crowded we wouldn't have hooked up with anyone because we'd have had no idea what they look like. Between the lack of clientele, the pitch black, the dry ice, the indifferent owner and the rude staff we will NEVER go back. We highly recommend X Club instead!
