| - If you are on the hunt for a perfect Eggs Benedict (with a twist), look no further! Chef Natalie's version has that gratifyingly creamy yet tingy hollandaise, eggs poached just right, crispy muffin and really, really, tasty turkey bacon. Don't bother looking for it on the regular menu though, as it's only available as a "special" on weekends. It comes in different variations (I had versions with sautéed spinach, and grilled tomato--both awesome). But if you cannot make it to Eat on the weekend don't despair: there are still other Southern-inspired gems. My recommendations are the grit dish, which is fantastic, and the pancakes are at once fluffy and crispy, and taste like donuts! I usually order a single pancake for desert AFTER the Egg Benedict. :)
Great place all around, with nice ambiance and one-of-a-kind decor. I just love those comfy green chairs!
