  • Found most of what I needed fine, but they employees here are AWFUL. They are the definition of RACIST. Within the first few minutes after entering the store, I was startled with a loud, forceful whooping impression of a 'monkey call' that I was appalled to find wasn't coming from a random, juvenile shopper, but from a full grown guy behind a desk, who was directing it at his single African American coworker. I was so stunned by this ridiculous episode that for a few minutes I really thought I had imagined it. That is, until I heard the group of white male employees behind the front desk start up a conversation about the finer accomplishments of Nazi Germany. That's right, there are ACTUAL NEO-NAZIS working at Staples in Madison. And indeed, the experience was punctuated by a second outbreak of monkey whoops and cackles directed at the black employee as he went to clock out and leave. I am extremely disgusted. My associates and I will never be seen at this location again.
