Here's the low down on this place. The owner does not speak English, not even broken. The service is pretty terrible, you will definitely wait for anything to be served to you, so make sure you're an extremely patient person. There is only one server there that actually does an excellent job, if he's not there we always turn around and walk right out and head over to Teharu (not that their service is really any better). That gentleman deserves a raise, or promotion to management. He has gorgeous blue eyes and cute somewhat higher voice. The rest of the servers look like they could use a bath to be honest. The cooks are really nice and they are clean, they keep their area clean and if you sit by them they will help you if you need anything. Very friendly and welcoming.
The sushi is average, it's not bad or mind blowing. They do have a really good smoked salmon nigiri. This place is only good if you're really hungry and want to eat some inexpensive sushi. It is clear the owner and Managment do not care about reviews or complaints since nothing has changed. I've gone several times hoping things will change and they have not. This place could be really great but the service their really brings it down. Don't waste your time, and make the drive to Sushi Station in Phoenix. The service there is incredible. They actually refill your drinks, even on the busy night. Ahi should take note. Two star rating thanks to the cooks and that one server, they truly deserve the 5 star but the other folks do not.
