| - I was really against staying here, but booked the room in advance without doing any looking into. It was better than I was expecting. Just like almost any casino in vegas, it smells like cigarette. I don't even smoke and I didn't think it was the worst. Some people are little princesses.
We got a non-smoking room on the 6th floor. Room was surprisingly clean and didn't smell of smoke. Bathroom including toilet and bathtub were also clean. Halls were quiet and well air-conditioned. You can hear a few conversations as you walk to your room, but once inside, silence; no disturbances. Not the best view, window looked out to the wall of another building. The elevators...well, they're elevators. Not the fanciest, but who complains about elevators?
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Payed everything in cash so i wouldn't have to deal with being over-charged or double-charged. No problems there. Didn't bother checking out the bowling alley or the pool...who wants to swim in a pool located on the garage level?...not me. Lots of slot machines to gamble away on.
Stay away from the café!! Food was disgusting. Old, stale, probably microwaved. I wouldn't wanna check out the buffet either. They have a small food court further down past a steakhouse and oyster bar that looked pretty nice.
For vegas, yes, not the nicest hotel you can stay in. But for someone looking for a cheap room off the strip, it's not that bad. (About a 10 min drive to vegas strip) Not trying to spend my whole trip in a hotel room anyway.
