This is an old hotel. Old. That means it doesn't have central AC. It means that some rooms are tiny and some are unnecessarily huge. But at the end of the day it's a pretty good hotel in an excellent location for downtown Cleveland.
I feel the same way about the Renaissance as I do about the Marriott across the street. They're both fine hotels but with all the new development in Cleveland recently I'd probably pick one of the newer properties unless I was staying here for work or really wanted the Marriott points.
