  • I should've gone with my gut instinct and never took my kids to a daycare where they spelled kids with a Z. Kidz kidz kidz was pretty much our only option when la petite stopped bussing and accepting school age students. The initial tour was fantastic! They had dedicated rooms for school age to do homework after school and the facility seemed very well laid out. Summer went somewhat smoothly. We immediately noticed kids were grouped into age groupings that were rather broad and our 6 year old seemed to be with our 3 year old, but they said it was due to low teachers. Our biggest frustration was that the school opens at 6:30 am but yet teachers don't arrive until 6:30 am. This leaves parents standing around for several minutes waiting for teachers to set up. I tried to speak with them about it, but they dismissed me. Once school started, they lost all control. On the first day when I came to pick them up, I stopped at the front desk and asked if they were back yet as I knew I was early. The director said absolutely they were back. I went back, got my daughter, but couldn't find my son. That's when the director comes running back yelling my name saying my son actually was not back yet, but was just pulling up. She said, "another blonde boy walked in so she had marked my son as here. The bus had pulled in a bit later because they had to go back for a child." Only when I got in the car did I realize the gravity of what she said. She had marked my child present when he was not. We should have pulled them then, but chalked it off to first day issues. Then, there was the time that the director forgot to run the autopay and ran everyone's cards hours late, overcharging us with late fees for her mistake. She did refund it back but not for a full week. This last week, while at dinner, our son informed us he was being bussed to school in a teachers vehicle rather than the bus because it broke down. This happened on multiple occasions and the school failed to inform us. When we asked them about it they say "oh sorry we told some parents, we must have forgotten to tell you." He was placed in a teachers car without a car seat (he's 6 and tiny) and they haven't even apologized. They had a second bus, but chose to put the kids in cars instead. We have asked multiple times for an apology but they haven't even called us once. This school is a joke. The leadership (ms. Robyn) is poor at best. She is more interested in being a friend to her staff than doing her job and being a boss. There are some good teachers, but the morning teacher is sour and rude. Ms. Chelsea is lazy. I could go on and on with the problems with this school. Plainly put, they endangered our child and refuse to even speak to us about it because they don't care. DO NOT Take your kids here. It's only a matter of time before they are named in another high profile lawsuit. (Check out the southern highlands location where they left a kid outside for 40 minutes). Also don't believe the good reviews. Check out what is posted at the entry. They are enticing people to leave good reviews by offering a chance for reduced tuition.
