| - The oyster bar is one of the few places I am willing to wait 2 hours standing the entire time just to eat! The reviews are not lying, yes it is that good, yes the lines are long, and yes people will wait for it! I have waited for a spot at that bar top always more than an hour but never over three. So plan accordingly. Bring a friend and rotate line holders, they DO NOT seat if your party is incomplete. And you guessed it, if you order to go you still gotta wait and to be seated for that order!
If you make your way down here try the pan roasts, don't opt in from a clam chowder, or gumbo, you're here for the real deal. PS add in the sausage! Be careful with the spice level, I am a weenie, and a three is great for me, my man chooses a 5 and that is plenty for him! Oysters are a must, and just sit back and watch the chef make your meal in front of you! (One of the best parts in my opinion.) I have been to the other oyster bars, (south point & sunset ) they say its the same...but its nothing like the original, we recently came here last week and its always good, the servers are quick, and the chef who is always working after midnight is a stud! He always makes people laugh, even when he is swamped, you couldn't even tell if he was busy!
