Was feeling hungry on Saturday morning, when we picked this place near where we were strolling.
When we got there at about 11am, they told us it would be about a 25 minute wait, even though there were quite a few empty tables. We wandered over to bar area and saw several tables available immediately, so we opted to sit in the bar area.
We started with a Bellini & Spicy Blood Mary (it was very spicy). Both were good. I stuck with Bellinis throughout, but my husband switched to a good belgium beer, Blanche De Bruxelles.
Food:
half dozen oysters: they gave me 3 types and they were good to very good.
cheese danish. Excellent.
Saumon Fume: pretty standard even though they served with a chive cream cheese & petit baguette (they, at first brought me a salmon salad, but quickly remedied and brought me the correct order).
Hachis de Boeuf: Good. On the other hand, my husband was disappointed and thought it was bland.
Service began very attentive, but completely dropped off. Had to flag her down for another round of drinks and later for the check.
