| - I hired Express Flooring to do a job for putting in tile in my kitchen downstairs, plus 2.5 baths, in my condo. Here are my concerns and what I see:
1) They planned for 1 day's work, it took three days
2) They did do a good job in laying the tile
3) They also were very flexible, and I have to give them credit for the things they did out of courtesy
4) They were ill prepared to do the following:
A) Complete the job (though they did complete the job)--ended up being three
days work. They were not ready for this mentally.
B) Having the work tools to cut the T-mold for the transitions between tile to
laminate (I had to have someone else do that for me, though they said they
can do it)
C) Lacking adequate quantity of tiling material. They did measure, but apparently
the crew they sent was apparently short of material, requiring an additional day
to get the material to the site (my condo).
Given my choice in the future, I probably will not be calling them for any kind of job. I will go elsewhere. This is simply due to A, B, and C. They may be good at sales, but the people who do the sales need better training obviously. They also need better management as far as people and materials.
