| - First, it's important to understand that this 2/5 rating is reflective of a fine dining establishment. It's still much, much better than the traditional steakhouses; but, compared to Ruth's Chris, Del Frisco's, Morton's, etc., this restaurant just doesn't stack up.
Perhaps it's because they were running their Queen's Feast promotion, but the cuts of filet were surprisingly thin and a touch overdone across the entire table (5 people). Honestly, it was shocking.
Everyone enjoyed the tie starter; the salads and lobster bisque were delicious. But, while tasting great, the lobster bisque lacked any lobster.
Finally, I had the carrot cake for dessert, which wasn't served for 10 minutes after our table was cleared. There's a difference between moist cakes and wet cakes, and this cake was wet, small, and doused in caramel.
With all the other places to go in Charlotte, I'd recommend skipping this and going somewhere else.
