Imagine a time when the horses still roamed the streets and cowboys were a more routine sighting than Bentley's and Prada handbags and you'd probably see the Town and Country Shopping Center in its prime. This shopping center has been around since the late 1950's and definitely is past its prime. There was a time when this center held a Harkins movie theatre and this is also where Pizza Bianco got its start in Phoenix. They're both gone now but the distinct 1970's-80's architecture from its last remodel remain along with many empty storefronts begging for new tennants.
