  • My husband and I stopped in here for the first time tonight. The young woman who was working there offered a free cronut to both of us, but we just took one and split it. I am so grateful that I only took a small bite, as the oil it was fried in was so rancid that I had to grab some napkins and spit it out! If all someone is selling is just one product, then your store's entire reputation is based on that one thing, so you had better be sure your product is very fresh. I will never know what that cronut would have tasted like if the oil had been fresh, as I will not only NEVER go back, but I will never touch another cronut again ANYWHERE. That is how badly it tasted.
