  • I'll start off my 1 star review by saying customer service is not a thing here. I own a pretty hefty aquarium and I saw online they were selling test kits for $20 which was $6 cheaper that petsmart. Great! I got to the store and saw the kit was being sold in stores for $28. I've never had an issues price matching online so I thought I'd ask since it has been nearly a year since I've shopped at petco. The lady I spoke with (cannot remember name) said that they do not price match anything in "her" store in a profoundly rude way. I know it's only $8, but the rude associate is what ticked me off. Never again will I shop at this particular store. I ended up going to the Petsmart near my house and they price matched Petco's online deal for the test kit. Later that day my fiance and I were out running errands and came across a different Petco and she wanted to stop in. Because of what happened to me at this store earlier that morning, I stopped an associate and asked if they price matches...she said yes. Maybe I just caught her on a bad day or something, but I'll never go to this store again because of that associate.
