  • For an upscale store, I never get any help, the woman are more interested in talking amongst themselves. I went into the dressing room with 6 pairs of slacks, when I came out to retrieve a different size, and couldn't find it, I broke up the conversation to inquire from the staff, and they said "everything is out and it's over there..." With the point of the finger. Seriously. I would spend over $100 on a slack and that's the service I got. Needless to say, I left the store without anything (and sole other customer in the store...no "thank you for shopping") went across the street to BR and bought 4 slacks and got fabulous service. Talbots serving the working woman...NOT?
