| - This tour is very very popular. I would suggest going close to opening, this just means you will "get your drunk on" nice and early. Good or bad, it's your call. ;)
I've heard differing accounts of what happens on a tour. So I think each tour guide does their own thing, which just makes coming back all the more interesting. Our guide started us out with a story about their old Steam Whistle fridge. Not so exciting? Well, that fridge contains your first beer, even before the tour begins, sounding more interesting now, eh? The tour is concise, but informative, highlighting the ideals of the company, such as their "green" initiative. They use deep water cooling from nearby Lake Ontario to cool their facility! The tour ends in their bar area, where you can enough another cold one or two or three with the friendly staff.
A Steam Whistle pint glass comes with the price of the tour. i couldn't think of a more fitting memento!
