| - Hm, wish I had reviews here before using Handy at all. I just listed to sell my condo and signed up for weekly cleanings.
First booking worked out well. The next one, not so much: the "pro" contacts me 2 hours before the appointment to tell me her hand hurts and she can't make it. When I ask her about a possible replacement (after expressing condolences), she makes up some story about me cancelling in the first place...what?! End result was, you guessed it, me cleaning that week.
With no service number to call, I sent an email to their customer service. Days later, I am sent a canned message about how sorry they are and they have taken steps to make sure the "pro" won't be assigned to me again, plus a $25 credit to my account. Great, I respond, but how do I know someone will show up for the next booking? No response for days, then I am told the same "pro" who didn't show up the previous week had been assigned and that I should make sure to request her again if I liked her....this was my cue to cancel all further bookings. $25 credit had also disappeared by this point.
Quite the show they are running at Handy. I wonder how many more horrible reviews before they finally go out of business? And no, I'm not buying the random super positive reviews on here.
