| - I usually don't like Hawaiian food, but this place is too good to resist. The food is great, the portions are enormous, and the price is so affordable. It makes the grad student in me cry tears of joy just by looking at the prices.
I usually get the Spicy Korean Chicken Bowl ($3.85) with broccoli (an extra $1.35-ish?), so for a little over $5, I'm full for at least two meals. You can take home half and it'll be substantial enough for another full meal, or you can do what I did yesterday and just ate the entire plate. The chicken is soft and tender, and it's on top of some sweet teriyaki-esque sauce & rice. I just don't know how they make it taste so good. The only thing is that it does take about 5-10 minutes for them to cook the chicken and steam the broccoli, so if you want a to-go order, you can just call ahead.
This place is very straight to the point. It doesn't try to sell you with really aesthetic decor, special deals, or heavy social media presence because frankly, it doesn't need to. The quality and flavor of the food alone will make you a believer in Ross J's. There isn't much more to say but that you should stop reading my review, get in your car, and go get a plate of that Spicy Korean Chicken.
