  • We came here last week with a Groupon for dinner. I love how its open late and close to the CPCC campus. Basically everyone was at the bar, no one was really seated for a meal except us which was fine because I was starving! We ordered the beer cheese pretzel, the cheese had a slight beery hint and the pretzel was too salted for my taste, will ask for no salt next time. Cheese was good though. I ordered the shrimp and grits because jalapeno grits sounds delicious and the bf ordred the chicken spiedie sandwich. I loved the spice in the shrimp and grits but it could have used some salt and pepper..other basic seasonings but, the mild heat was there. Grits were creamy and there was an ok amount of shrimp. Had to take the rest home. I found the chicken spiedie really dry, the chicken has good seasoning so sauce of some sort would go a long way here. The service was a little slow but, it was also about 9:30 and nobody else was ordering food. Wednesday nights are half off martinis. I got the white gummy bear, the bartender made it pretty stiff so it was well worth the price. We have also ordered the bread pudding for takeout, so yummy! I love the caramel sauce. Will be back for more!
