| - So, following my first review Heather S. from Value City posted a reply about how they were going to remedy the situation blah blah blah (it's there, you can read it yourself). I get contacted by the customer service department. Explain the situation, including the fact that the couch was from the clearance section. I am told that regardless, the couch's appearance has changed in a month and they will either replace the couch or send someone to fix it.
So, I send pictures, wait 4 days or so, email again, wait about a week and I get an email that basically says, sorry we can help you.
If they just would have left it at, your couch is effed up but it was cheap (my original post), they would still have 3 stars. But, waste my time and post a response to my message to make yourself look better???
I don't think so!
I wonder what happened with the other people that they said they were going to help??? Probably absolutely nothing.
It's bad enough to sell a product that falls apart in a month, but don't make it seem like you are a better company than you really are by posted responses on yelp and then doing nothing about it. That's basically lying in my book.
***EDIT, So Heather S has responded yet again.
And to that I say:
It's not confusion. I told the woman that it was sold as is and she said that it still shouldn't be broken less than a month after I bought it. I understood her perfectly. I just think I am being jerked around, because you wanted to make the review look better. It doesn't really matter, this is exactly what I expect from customer service in the Pittsburgh area.
THIS IS WHY YOU ARE A 2 STAR COMPANY!
