I've been to Kent Rapid wash quite a few times since I've moved to town. Overall, I found their prices to be fair for the service. They have a decent price range but overall nothing to put them over the top (they only dried my car once...). That's until today anyhow. It was kind of a cold day but the place was open and I was eager to wash the salt off of my undercarriage so I rolled in. For the first time since I've been there I was not greeted by a worker. Weird but who cares.... I paid for my wash and got my car in the track, but as soon as I pulled in I knew something was off. The cloth washers were covered with ice... Surely enough, most of the apparatus was not working properly. Only half of my car got any soap and the rinse didn't work which mean the soap just froze on there. The entire right side of my car was covered in blue ice that I had to scrape off before heading home so that I could see out of my mirrors and windows. The attendant tried to help but had no means of doing so. I asked for my money back (as my car left in worse shape then it came in) but he was unable to do anything about that. With no manager or owner to be found I am now home filling up a bucket with warm water in the hopes of getting the blue junk off my car. If your equipment isn't working, you probably shouldn't be operating.
