ATTENTION FELLOW RUNNERS: Xtend Barre is hands down the best cross training I've come across. I've been waiting to write this review since I started Xtending in June, because I knew I would have AMAZING results to share. I ran my 9th marathon today and shaved 13 minutes off my personal best. Not only do I enjoy the benefits of cardio on my off days, or on days, but Xtend's workout focuses on those often neglected areas, a/k/a core and arms, which I personally can be too lazy to care about after a long run. As a result, my balance has improved and I'm stronger and faster.
On another note, I've never felt more comfortable as a beginner in a class full of pros. The instructors are super friendly and helpful, as well as their regular clientele, and make you feel like family when you walk through the door.
