  • Nice decor & ambiance for a strip-mall restaurant, very surprising and welcome. We were there on a quiet afternoon and were amazed at how fantastic the food is and the service was just incredible. One of the gals there saw me picking food off my husband's plate and brought me a serving of the same thing, gratis. My southern hubby had the catfish plate and loved it, and we both loved the fried cabbage. Not a southerner, I tried their cheeseburger - it was okay but there's a reason why this isn't a burger joint ;) Next time (and there will definitely be a next time) I'll break down and try to deal with the southern obsession with frying everything ;)
