The food here was not good. The service was very strange. I would not come back if the food was free (which is saying something because my friends will tell you I am incredibly cheap).
Pros:
1. The fish is fresh. Very fresh.
2. The cost is low for Poke. You don't get much poke though so that's fitting I guess.
3. Good natural lighting. North facing floor to ceiling windows are stellar for a lunch property.
4. It is near a very good and affordable dry cleaner.
Cons:
1. The food tasted pretty flavorless. I'm not picky when it comes to fish but the sauces, and sides were bland and the only flavor I could taste was salt.
2. The portions are tiny. The bowl is tiny, it's mostly rice, and the fish portions are small.
3. The sauces are not well explained, and don't have a great deal of flavor. I might as well just pour soy sauce on my bowl.
4. There aren't very many sides and you don't get as much of them as you want.
5. The guy serving kept making jokes about charging me extra for napkins and stuff. It wasn't funny, just uncomfortable. He then made the same joke to other customers. It didn't get funnier as he kept doing it to other people. It's also not funny now that I'm writing about it.
6. It is probably in one of the most dangerous parking lots in Phoenix.
Long and short: there is much better Poke not too far away.
