  • After hearing all the hype about Uncle Tetsu's cheesecakes, I had to ask myself if they could really be that good. Why on earth would anyone line up for hours for a cheesecake? I do admit that I have a sweet tooth, but that seems a bit exaggerated. However, curiosity got the best of me and when I was in the neighbourhood yesterday, I decided to stop by and see if their cakes really did live up to their reputation. I'm pretty sure I could have found a better use of my time than lining up for some extra calories, but as I said, I was curious. The wait wasn't that long (about 30 mins) and now I have the privilege to be able to weigh in on their deliciousness. Are they good? Yes. Their cheesecakes are delicious. Unlike the cheesecakes I'm used to eating, this one is light and not too sweet. It's well worth the calories and some time waiting. Would I say it's worth an hour long wait (like some people have reported here)? Probably not, but that's just my opinion. So, if you see that the line isn't too long, you should definitely grab a cake to go!
