To the medical staff working in Unit 3A,
I was recently admitted to your hospital during a dark moment in my life and did not know what to expect throughout my stay. I'd just like to take a moment to show my gratitude towards the various Nurses, Nursing Aides and Doctor that tended to me while I was there. It really did make the difference. A very specific thanks to the following:
Denise (Nurse) for being compassionate, kind, and making me feel comfortable.
Dr. Saldivar for checking on me periodically and making sure anything and everything was ok.
Rylee (Nursing Aide) for treating me with respect and discussing Nursing with me as a possibility in my future.
Ashley (Nursing Aide) for being kind and real with me and making me feel like a person, not a patient. And for helping me with my hair / legs (LIFE SAVER) lol.
Elizabeth (Nursing Aide) for sitting at my bedside and telling me about her struggles and inspiring me to do better and be tough.
Courtney & Latoya (Aides) for making me laugh and being so sweet.
Sarah (Nurse) for practicing the utmost professionalism and dignity while still being incredibly kind. You are the type of nurse I hope to be like some day.
Thank you again for everything. I feel blessed to have been under the care of 3A. Keep up the good work.
PS - only 4 stars because there were about five people on staff that wouldn't even look me in the eye, were cold and seemed "bothered", and treated me like I was crazy. To those people, take note..... You won't make it far in ANY medical field if your patients are not comfortable and/or do not trust you.
