| - yeah, food was kind of on the salty side; sangria tasted so weird i couldn't finish my glass (let alone the whole pitcher), which was unheard of. seats were tight, and, yeah, they were half-attempting to make the place romantic by adding little xmas lights and stuff, but look at the tables and furniture! now i realized why this is a top choice for college kids' first-date. for some reason the two out-of-town students (temp locals) loooved this place, though.
service was slow. yes it was a saturday night, but we shouldn't feel neglected and abandoned. we were sitting by the back door which the waiters kept swinging open to get to the outside portion of the restaurant. it was sept (last year) but it got pretty chilly that night. we'd ask one of the passing waiters (who were few and far in between, and going at top speed) to close the door, but the next one would swing it open in 2 minutes' time, creating a draft that chilled our backbones. i was at the verge of putting a chair by that door and sat down there myself.
average price ($13-15 per entree?), but, yeah, not crazy about going back, with the kind of experience i had.
