| - Horrible and one of the worst nightclubs on the Las Vegas strip. Trust me, as a local, I've been to most of them. I'm just going to "bulletpoint" the bad and hope that it is enough to sway your decision not to visit OMNIA Nightclub.
1. Was guestlisted for free entry but ended up paying $50 entry. Their trick is to stall the guestlist line from 11 PM-12 AM. It was obvious, as the line didn't move until after midnight. Then when you reach the front, they'll tell you that guys have to pay since it's after midnight.
2. Overcharged. Like I said, guys ended up having to pay $50. But after paying, I notice that they charged by card $65 (probably including tax)! I complained about this, but they basically weren't sympathetic about it. They ended up giving me a drink comp ticket for one free shot -- not even for a drink of my choice, but some cheap-a$$ flavored alcohol!
3. Rude to my girlfriend and almost refused entry. Like I said, we were on the guestlist. The guys all ended up paying separately, but because my girlfriend didn't enter the same time as the other ladies, they said she had to pay and refused entry! I don't know if I should be upset that the security was a douche to my girlfriend and I, or thankful that he eventually let us in. But he kept giving us really rude looks and didn't hold a professional tone.
4. No free water. Come on, this is too ridiculous! It gets incredibly hot in the nightclub, and plus with the dangerously hot temperatures it can reach, there is no excuse not to provide free tap water. Follow in the steps of other nightclubs such as Marquee that do offer free tap water to their customers.
5. Sister was refused entry due to her compact digital camera. She has been able to bring her Canon G7X in other nightclubs (i.e. Marquee, Intrigue, XS, Hyde) but OMNIA is the only exception. They were very rude and told her that she had to get out of line and check it into the hotel bell desk or put it back into her car, but of course that means she loses her entry spot that we waited 2 hours for to get in! Good thing she was able to sneak it in by hiding it, the idiot security guards don't even know their own rules. It's a freaking compact digital camera, not one of the type of cameras forbidden in their rules posted on their website (ex. GoPro, video camera, digital SLR).
The employees in OMNIA just appeared miserable throughout the whole place. And that reflected onto their customer service, which you were lucky if you got any.
Locals and visitors alike, DO NOT VISIT OMNIA NIGHTCLUB! Your group of friends, bachelors/bachlorettes, first-time visitors... whoever you are, you deserve to have fun and not a stressful night like we did. I highly recommend Marquee in the Cosmopolitan or Intrigue in Encore/Wynn. Even if you get on the guestlist for those two nightclubs, they won't bull$hit you and you're sure to have a fun time.
Trust me, look at the reviews. You'll notice that OMNIA Nightclub has one of the lowest ratings. Their sister company, Hakkasan (owned by the same company), is the only major nightclub that has a worse rating. Not a coincidence, at all.
