  • I was at first drawn to NLI for thier reasonable prices but now I see that it is not so inexpensive...since you are virtually paying for NOTHING.I went in for a photofacial and as one reviewer stated had paid extra for the professional spa treatment.The lady was extremely over cautious and the effects were 0 just as I had expected.No coffee grounds came off and no slight sunburn sensation afterwards.I asked her kindly to amp it up and she was irritated that I suggested it.I understand caution,but this is absurd.If I wanted to be shot with a toy gun I would of stayed home and let the kids play laser gun target practice on my back!!! It would be free and wouldnt cost nothing plus the toy lights would of maybe done more for me.I was disappointed but like an unbelieving fool with not much money to spare I went back...yup I know second time shame on me now.I went back this time for a scelerotherapy procedure,this time from the students since the extra cost services are just as ineffective.It did nothing!!Im so glad I only paid $75 to let them poke me,although I think I deserved to see just one spider vein disappear after paying.I thought at first I had something wrong with my vascular system,went to my vein doctor who did a complete scan and said nothings wrong.I paid 250 for that doctor visit.Doctor told me she went to NLI school and that they only use a saline(weak) solution to disolve veins and they use no real effective dissolving solution.No wonder.Well needless to say I wont be going back...all they do is pump me up with saltwater and air and send me on my way with imaginary results. All I can say to NLI is that it was fun playing pretend but I am not laughing.You can't promote innefective treatment or services for any amount of money,it should be free to be poked and prodded at.You should pay your customers for being guiney pigs to the out of town students who dont have a "model" to work on.In beauty school we weren't allowed to use shaving cream on real clients,only doll heads.We had to use real hair color...DUH.So just because you are afraid of liability or investing in effective product for your clients there is absolutely no excuse for stealing from your customers- especially people who are looking for a deal! I was anxious and so are others when they go in there not knowing what to expect,drive far,take time off work and they put themselves through it for this outcome??Please dont ask me to come back and make it right,not possible and besides you would have to pay me BIG money.
