Dairy King is a perfectly fine ice cream (or custard, whatever) stand. They have a couple picnic tables and offer a pretty standard variety of shakes, sundaes, cones, etc. They usually have about 10 flavors of hand dipped ice cream as well as the soft serve. When we're in the market for ice cream, we'll usually choose Dairy King over McDonald's or Dairy Queen.
My husband always has a tough time deciding what to get at Dairy King. He loves the hot caramel sundae, but can't decide on a size. The small is a reasonable amount of ice cream for about $4, but the large is about 4 times bigger for only about $1 more. It's way too much for one person to finish, but it's a much better value.
