| - Had the $22 three-course prix fixe, "express lunch." Started with the panzanella, and it was amazing. This place probably has the best croutons in the world. Next time I go, I might just ask for a side of croutons with my salad because WOW. Because I split our main courses with someone else, I got to try both the Bucatini Carbonara and the Spaghetti Bolognese. I personally preferred the Carbonara, because I thought the sauce had struck the perfect balance and the noodles were great, but the other person slightly preferred the Bolognese. Moral of the story: both were excellent. We finished with cannoli and tiramisu. Both were, as you could have guessed, fantastic. Moreover, the servers were very friendly and we felt that they paced the meal perfectly. I can't wait to go back. However, before you do, make sure to call and ask if the prixe fixe is on the menu that day because, when we first arrived, even though it was a Thursday at noon, the waiter said that he had to check.
UPDATE: I came back, and learned that we are not limited to their packaged breadsticks for lunch. Instead, they have (free) focaccia bread. All you have to do is ask for it, and then someone will come around with a big pan of focaccia bread. Make sure to ask for the olive oil and vinegar too!!
