Following one of the Elite Yelpers' eating route and came to this restaurant. I am super hungry and ordered an order of Red Bean Rice Pan Cake, an order of Fried Chicken Nugget and a Fried Rice Noodle with Beef.
Fried Chicken Nuggets (score 4/5)
This item was the first to come. It came along with a miracle white sauce and a sweet and sour sauce. The nuggets were small like popcorn chickens. They were fried into dark brown colour. To me, they were kind of over cooked but the taste was alright. I didn't taste anything burned. I think this dish is a bit too pricey. $5.99 for a small basket of popcorn chickens.
Fried Rice Noodle with Beef (score 4/5)
It carried the traditional Chinese cooking taste with salt and sour vegetables. The waitress also pushed a cart with a variety of seasonings you could add to the noodle. I especially like the noodles a lot, i.e. just the plain noodle. The noodle is smooth yet the whole dish a little bit greasy.
Red Bean Rice Pan Cake (score 5/5)
This is a dessert. It reminded me of one of the the ChiuChow desserts, red bean stuffed inside a sticky flour made dumplings. They are delicious. Brought me back childhood memories, this is a kind of dessert I often ate in my friend's home who was originated from ChiuChow.
I am interested in coming back to try their other authentic appetizers.
