I signed up for DIRECTV through AT&T after I upgraded my iPhone. What a HUGE mistake!!!!!! On the scheduled day of installation I got two recorded calls that I had an appointment for an installation that day between12-4 pm...well 4pm came and went and nobody showed up. Called their customer service number waiting a good amount of time before I got a rep on the line. She checked to see where the technician was and turns out there was no reason as to why the technician never showed up but they are not going to show up today.... WTF?!?!? So I wasted a whole day off waiting for some moron who didn't even have the decency to call and say they were not going to show up. I asked the rep where I can make a complaint so she transferred me to the billing department? (This after waiting 20 minutes on hold). The rep from the billing department tells me that he can't help me so he can transfer me to the new accounts department. I'm over it by this point...I told him if there was a direct line to this department and he says he can only transfer me over. I ask if there is an email or even mailing address that I can send in a complaint and he says that I can use the chat feature on the website to do this...weird. So while he tells me this I log on to the site and there is no chat now box that pops up. Then he tells me to try and log on a computer....(and what else...turn around three times and touch my nose?!?) So by this time I am REALLY over it...I just tell him I'm going to write a review. To those of you who left one and two star reviews....I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!! I wish I read these reviews before signing up, but I was only going to upgrade my Iphone and got baited into signing up for this. So please BEWARE.....save yourself a headache and frustration...DON'T sign up for DIRECTV!!!!
