  • Local dish makes me so happy! When I first moved to the area I stopped in for a late lunch around 2:30, so I was the only customer. I had the bbq sandwich which was okay. I prefer Vinegar based bbq (being a local from eastern Nc) and it was fairly saucy. I just went back last week and had a totally different experience. The place was full, great music was playing the background and everyone was laughing and having a good time. As if it were literally the local hangout. I sat at the bar and had the chicken salad. Very good! All the waitstaff are super friendly and willing to strike up a real conversation with you. I have also had the pimento cheese which I can assure you will arrive in a healthy serving!!
