| - I have no idea why Sheraton would place this property basically in the middle of section 8 housing. Flamingo is lined up with shopping carts and homeless people. Across the street is some weekly rental or section 8 housing that some drunk guy was cat calling me. The lobby is nice, however the FREE Parking... You have to get out of your car to open the gate at night and could be easily robbed.
I have no idea what room other people were in but there was no tub in out room, shower stall only. Window mounted air conditioning.....thats right no central air.
They have direct TV which is really complicated if you have never used it.
The bar, although pretty...is dead.
The place is surrounded by several other well known brands, so you can probably guess which ones that have free breakfast, parking and no resort fees which also have much nicer locations, closer to the strip and nicer rooms.
The elevator has zero ventilation and so its like a hot box and slow. The carpeting on the halls looks like cheap indoor/outdoor carpet and to really give it that "dorm feeling" they planted a microwave on the floor , by the elevators for group usage.......really tacky.
Also, no refrigerators and we stayed for over a week, so being next to all these restaurants (which by the way that lotus of Siam is not that great, not impressed the original location was much better) no left overs to nibble at night.
If you have to uber everywhere, its really not worth not paying resort fees;
