  • Came here to get some paints at my friend's recommendation because it may be cheaper. As I was going in I noticed a sign saying that Canadian Tire was under new management. To be honest I didn't really check whether out was cheaper in the end but that isn't as relevant because the service provided by James in the paint department was excellent. I never really had high expectations when it comes to service at Canadian Tire. However this surpassed even my expectations from Lowe's. The wait for someone to help us on paints was pretty quick. He dealt with someone ahead of me very expediently. James was pretty helpful and knowledgable as to what kind of paints to use for our new condo. He tried to make sure we aren't oversold on the paints and just get enough for what we need. He noted that he preferred to sell us less than being over as we won't be able to return it. He was able to help us locate alternate coloured paints from a different brand which was cheaper but also more durable He also pointed us to tools we would need and found us the better deals for them. Overall will come to this branch again.
