  • I have an early 2000's diesel truck that was a bit bogged down. I brought it to A2Z because my dad had told me about the place, so I called and explained my issues with the truck and brought it in to the shop. I was told I needed a new fuel pump and filter system and was explained all of the mathematical reasons it would improve the performance of my truck. Oddly enough this was the same repair he told my dad he needed done to his truck, which is not the same truck as mine. While I was in the shop picking up my truck and estimate to do the work, the owner Ben was telling someone else that they needed this fuel pump system. I eventually had the work done and also had EFI live tuning done and an Edge cs digital guage installed, if you want to call it "installed" For them to plug a plug into my truck and then run a visible wire up from under the dash to my windshield where the guage is stuck onto my windshield with a suction cup similar to a GPS cost HUNDREDS in labor alone!! Aside from cost being a bit much for the work performed, the clutch on my truck that worked when I brought it in did not work when I drove away and almost wrecked because my truck couldn't get in or out of gear. When I called and explained this to the shop I was told by Ben "we will take care of it. Call my tow truck." And gave me the number to the tow company. The following day I received a call saying the truck was drivable, nothing they did Would have affected the clutch and it was going to cost me 3 more hours labor and the parts cost plus the tow fee if I wanted it fixed.!! The pump seems to work but is already leaking and seems very vulnerable to debris hitting it while offroading. Not in any way happy and would NEVER EVER recommend using this place for your diesel repair needs. The only reason I will be back is when my shit that's under warranty breaks. And then I'll still probably be able to fix it myself. If you plan on doing any of the work I just listed, watch a YouTube video, buy the parts, do it yourself and save thousands on simple work an apprentice mechanic could do. Or go to a better shop. Don't get dooped!! To add to my last review now that its been a couple months, clutch still having same issue and after going to another mechanic I was told that the increase in horse power is causing to much pressure on the stock clutch heating it up more than it should be. So A2Z didn't touch the clutch but the work directly affected the issue with the clutch. The fuel is leaking substantially from the stock fuel filter housing. a2Z diesel are no better than any other crooked mechanism shop that will do work and not mention the other problems that need to be addressed until something breaks and you have to bring it back and get charged more. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR DIESEL PERFORMANCE WORK. At no point did ANYONE "work" with me on anything except to charge me more money. Thanks for ducking my truck up. Good luck out there!
