  • DAVE IS AWESOME! I walked in yesterday, which was a Tuesday. It was the absolute perfect day. I have walked by, called, and been drawn to this tattoo shop for months! It is clean, great vibe, lots of portfolios to look at and everyone was friendly and interested in each others work. I am doing a lot with my hands and recently have started doing a lot of filming of hair techniques for a company I represent as a stylist and educator. I recently took on the role of Social Media Assistant for them as well. My hands are now being seen by several people and some close up shots in videos. I wanted to up the visual interest as I'm moving through hair in front of the camera. I walked in, they brought out the perfect artist for me.. who at the end of his day was all cleaned up and ready to go home but took me on instead! :) He was kind and gentle and listened. He told me no but worked with me to create a yes. Then he went above and beyond and used the finest detailing needles that he had just bought and shipped from Canada. A needle that is the size of 1 but actually is 3 to create maximum ink deposit.. which is what was needed for my finger tattoo. It sweeps feathers over my top knuckle and is an arrow that plunges into my second knuckle and goes under and out the other side to the arrow head point at my nail bed. My manicured nails will look stunning with this tattoo. The camera is going to love it. I will post pics once the Saran Wrap is off. I just had to say Thank you to Dave in this way, asap. I really appreciated the honesty of the downfalls of what I wanted to do.. the work around and him using the finer needles which allowed my fingers to accept the ink in clean crisp detail.. He's a master at it. His tattoos have amazing depth and detail. Mine being on the finger poses future challenges but we both assured each other.. He knows I understand and I know I can step back in for touch ups, if it falls out. I plan on adding more pieces over the next few months.
